To find joyful movement, experiment with activities you were told you weren't "fit enough" for. Try roller skating, bouldering, swimming, tai chi, or hula hooping. If it feels like play, you will do it forever. If it feels like punishment, you will quit. You cannot achieve a wellness lifestyle if you are verbally abusive to yourself.
