Resident Evil: Afterlife picks up where the third installment, Resident Evil: Extinction, left off. The story follows Alice (played by Milla Jovovich), a former security expert who has become a powerful fighter against the evil Umbrella Corporation. After being captured and subjected to experiments, Alice discovers that she has developed new powers that make her an even more formidable opponent.
