Pull the left and right clamps outward. Lay the phone flat against the back plate. Slowly release the clamps so they grip the metal or plastic edges of your phone (not the screen).

Thick cases (like OtterBox) will prevent the clamps from holding securely. Remove your phone case.

Place your phone horizontally (landscape mode). The phone’s charging port must be on the left or right side (usually the bottom cutout aligns with the port).
