When THQ released WWE ’13 in late 2012, it was hailed as a love letter to the "Attitude Era." For the Nintendo Wii, however, the experience was often seen as the "lesser cousin" to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. The Wii port lacked the graphical fidelity, the "Predator Technology" ragdoll physics worked differently, and the online community was sparse.
That kind of absurd, DIY creativity is lost in modern, heavily monetized wrestling games. The Wii modding scene keeps that spirit alive. Absolutely, yes.
With patience and a few hours of downloading, you can transform the "black sheep" port of WWE ’13 into the most unique wrestling game in your library. Whether you want to pit AEW stars against WWE legends or simply update CM Punk’s tattoos, the community has a file for you.
Grab your SD card, fire up the Homebrew Channel, and get ready to lay the smackdown on a fully customized roster. Do you have a favorite WWE 13 Wii mod? Share your custom roster ideas in the comments or on the GBAtemp forums.
But a strange thing happened over the last decade. A dedicated group of modders looked at the Wii version of WWE ’13 and saw not a limitation, but an opportunity. Because the Nintendo Wii is easier to soft-mod than almost any other console, has become a cult phenomenon, allowing players to transform a decade-old wrestling game into a completely modern, arcade-style sandbox.
When you install , you aren't trying to compete with modern consoles. You are creating a portable, easy-to-hack time capsule. You can bring the Wii to a friend’s house, plug in the USB drive, and play a match featuring "Weird Al" Yankovic vs. a Zombie version of The Undertaker in a Ring of Fire match.
If you own a dusty Wii in your closet and a copy of WWE ’13 collecting dust, you are sitting on a goldmine. The process is more forgiving than PC modding (no driver conflicts) and more accessible than Xbox modding (no soldering).

I’m actually looking forward to checking this one out. Serbian Film would have been better if not for all the hype surrounding the film. Salo ranks up there with this other film Sweet Movie as beautiful repulsing films I’ll never watch again.
I’m equally repulsed and intrigued by the concept of this film though.
